(ORAL) Learned counsel for the respondent submitted that main petition filed under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 (in short 'the 2007 Act'), has been dismissed in default and therefore, the revision petition against the interim order in those proceedings awarding the maintenance @ `7000/- upon the plaintiff/son, has become infructuous.

Mr. Walia, submits that even otherwise, husband of the respondent is alive and therefore, maintenance could not have been fastened upon him, in the absence of fact that there is no evidence that the husband is dependent upon the plaintiff. Be that as it may, as on today there is no case pending before the authority, therefore, the present revision petition is
