(Oral) At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he confines his prayer for issuance of limited direction to the authorities concerned to consider his case for grant of premature release, as the same has already been initiated on 12.11.2022 vide dispatch No.7833. In view of the aforesaid submission, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the authorities concerned i.e. respondent No.1State of Punjab through the Secretary to Government of Punjab, Home Department Jails, to consider and finally dispose of the case of the petitioner for premature release expeditiously, preferably within a period of 2 months from today.
