Rulia Ram v. Saroj Rani
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH
CR-3908-1997 (O&M) Date of Decision : 01.10.2024 RULIA RAM .... Petitioner
VERSUS
SAROJ RANI .... Respondent CORAM : HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ALKA SARIN Present :
Mr. Jagdish Manchanda, Advocate for the petitioner. ALKA SARIN, J. (ORAL) 1.
The present revision petition pertains to the year 1997 and is a fully burnt case. Despite best efforts, the Registry has not been able to reconstruct the file. For the last many years, no endeavour has also been made by the parties to get the matter heard. Further, on 29.07.2024 Mr. Jagdish Manchanda, Advocate had put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner (though his power of attorney is not on the record) and had sought time to try and locate the file in order to help in reconstruction of the paper book of the Court but he has also not been able to locate his file. Even a bare perusal of the papers shows nothing to discern the particulars of the parties. 2.
In view thereof, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present revision petition for non-prosecution. 3.
Dismissed for non-prosecution with liberty to revive in case anything survives in the matter. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
