NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing the impugned order dated 03.01.2019 (Annexure P-4) passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Amritsar, dismissing the application dated 04.12.2018 (Annexure P-3) filed by the petitioner for releasing his passport, on account of his acquittal in case FIR No. 18 dated 15.05.2011 registered under Sections 498-A and 406 IPC at Police Station D-Division, Amritsar, vide judgment dated 28.11.2018 (Annexure P-2).

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of as such, as the petitioner has received his passport and he has gone to Germany.

Learned counsel for the State does not dispute the aforesaid fact.

In view of the above, the instant petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
