RAJESH BINDAL, J Challenge in the present petition is to the order dated 21.2.2015 passed by the learned court below, whereby the application filed by the petitioner for impleading him as plaintiff No.2 in a suit filed by Kissan Filling Station partnership firm through its partner, Nahar Singh, was dismissed.

Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has joined the firm after the filing of the suit by the firm, hence, he seeks impleadment as co-plaintiff in the suit.

Prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner is totally misconceived. The firm and the partners have no separate legal entity. The firm is merely a compendium of persons. The petitioner may have joined as partner after filing of the suit but he is not a necessary party to be impleaded as co-plaintiff in the suit filed by the firm through a partner. Dismissed.
