The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in respect of complaint No.COMA/121/2015 dated 22.12.2015, under Sections 18(c), 18-A, 27(b) (ii) and Section 28 of Drugs and Cosmetic Act, pursuant to cancellation of his bail by the trial Court on account of his absence before the trial Court vide order dated 6.12.2019.

Pursuant to interim directions issued by this Court the petitioner has surrendered before the trial Court as has been stated by learned counsel and has been granted interim bail.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that it was on account of the fact that he had met with minor road accident on 5.12.2019 as such he could not appear before the trial Court on 6.12.2019 and that his absence was not intentional.
