Learned counsel would contend that the petitioner retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.12.2023, however, leave encashment was paid to him, after almost 11 months but the aforesaid benefits still has not been released. In this regard, a legal notice dated 05.11.2024, Annexure P-5, has been served upon respondents, but the same has yet not evoked any response. He thus, at this stage, on instructions from the petitioner prays that a direction is given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner. 3. Notice of motion.
