Kuljinder Kumar and Zareena Kraishi, the petitioners before this Court, claim themselves to be major. It has been pleaded that they have married against the wishes of respondent No.4 to 6 and seek protection to their life and liberty. They apprehend danger from respondent No.4 to 6. They have placed on record the marriage certificate (Annexure P5) evidencing their marriage. The petitioners have submitted a representation dated 12.01.2022 (Annexure P7) to the respondent No.2. 3.
