By way of present petition filed under Section 482 CrPC, prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondent No.2 to get further inquiry/investigation conducted by any Higher Police Officer in FIR No.103 dated 04.08.2023 registered under Sections 307, 323, 341, 148 and 149 at P.S. Sadar Sangrur, District Sangrur. 2.
At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his client would be satisfied in case direction is issued to the respondents to decide the representation (Annexure P-2) moved at the instance of petitioner by passing a speaking order expeditiously.

Prayer seems to be justified.

Upon advance notice, Mr. Shubham Kaushik, A.A.G., Punjab appears on behalf of respondents and raises no objection to the innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner.

In view of the agreed stand taken by both sides, but without going into the merits of the controversy, the present petition is disposed of with a request to respondent No.2-Inspector General of Police, Patiala Range, Patiala to look into the representation (Annexure P-2) and take appropriate action in accordance with law by passing a speaking order preferably within a period of 04 (four) weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 6.
The aforesaid direction shall not be treated as an expression of opinion on the merits of the averments made in the representation.
