The report of the Warrant Officer has been received. As per the report, the alleged detenues were neither arrested nor required in connection with any case. The alleged detenue Jagsir Singh had got his statement recorded wherein the said detenue has stated that he had reached the Police Post Mehlan about 15 minutes before the arrival of the Warrant Officer and that he had neither been arrested nor was called by the police.

In view of the report of the Warrant officer the present petition has been rendered infructuous.
