Mr. Nafees Ahmad Khan, Advocate for the petitioner. HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioner, who is aged about 21 years, has preferred instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, praying for issuance of directions to official respondent Nos.2 to 4 to protect her life and liberty at the hands of respondent No.5 and his companions. It is stated that the petitioner and respondent No.5 are residents of the same village. It is alleged that about two years back, respondent No.5 along with his companion Taleem son of Harun resident of Bhandgaka kidnapped the petitioner and committed rape upon her. Respondent No.5 also prepared an obscene video of the incident. It is stated that the panchayat of the Village and the respectable persons of the village got her marriage performed with Taleem. One male boy was born from the wedlock.

It is further stated that the petitioner is happily residing with Taleem but respondent No.5, who is SPO, is continuously interfering with her life. Under the threat of making the video public, respondent No.5 has repeatedly raped the petitioner. Recently, when the petitioner refused to MANOJ KUMAR 2022.01.

CRWP No.461 of 2022 #2# accede to his demands, respondent No.5 got a false FIR registered against her. Now the petitioner apprehends serious danger to her life and liberty besides false implication in some more cases. The petitioner has submitted a representation on 19.11.2021 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.4-SHO, P.S Sadar, Nuh but no action thereon has been taken. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would also send a copy of the complaint to respondent No.3-Superintendent of Police, Nuh.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case or opining on the veracity of the allegations contained in the representation, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3/Superintendent of Police, Nuh to look into the representation submitted/to be submitted by the petitioner and take necessary action as warranted under law.
