Petitioner-Manpreet Kaur has moved this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ especially in the nature of Mandamus directing respondents No.2 & 3 to protect life and liberty of the petitioner endangered at the hands of private respondents. Counsel for the petitioner submitted that representation dated 14.1.2022 (Annexure P-2) in this regard has also been moved before the concerned authorities, but no action has been taken till now. Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3 at this stage. Mr. B.S. Sewak, Addl. A.G. Punjab has accepted notice on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 3.

( 2 ) CRWP-467-2022 if necessary direction is given to respondent No.2 to take action on the aforesaid representation dated 14.1.2022 (Annexure P-2). State counsel submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law.

In the light of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation dated 14.1.2022 (Annexure P-2) in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
