(i) The petitioner will be allowed to join the proceedings for ejectment petition at the stage it is fixed as on today.

(ii) His joining, however, will not result in de- novo trial.

With these observations, interim order dated 20.03.2018 is vacated and the Rent Controller is directed to proceed further in the matter. ( SURINDER GUPTA ) May 01, 2019.
