Prayer in the present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.236 dated 03.12.2024 registered under Sections 420, 406, 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Gobindgarh Mandi, District Fatehgarh Sahib.

Vide order dated 16.01.2025, while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join investigation. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the dispute is entirely of a civil nature regarding which a civil suit is also pending. CRM-M-2083-2025 (O&M) ( 2 ) dated 16.01.2025, petitioner has joined the investigation and as such his interim bail may be made absolute.

Status report by way of an affidavit of Gurdeep Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Amloh, District Fatehgarh Sahib, has been filed by learned State counsel, which is taken on record. 5.

Learned counsel for the complainat has, however, opposed the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and submits that the petitioner has embezzled amount of Rs.1.65 crores. 6.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, has affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is no more required for further investigation.

The arguments and counter arguments raised are entire matter of evidence, which can be dealt with by the trial Court. 8.

In view of the above, interim order dated 16.01.2025 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 482

(2) B.N.S.S.
