Present petition has been fled under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of Assured Carrier Progression Scheme (ACP) in terms of notification dated 03.11.2006 (P-1).

It transpires that for redressal of grievance, petitioner sent representation dated 11.03.2020 (P-2); but no final decision has been taken by the concerned quarter till date despite the fact that a period of more than 2 years has elapsed.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off with direction to respondent No.4-Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department (Punjab), Chandigarh, to consider and decide the aforesaid representation dated SANJAY 2022.03.22 18:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document -1-
