Today, at the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners' daughter has been missing and although petitioners have come to know that a petition had been filed in the High Court i.e. CRWP-12093 of 2021 on behalf of their daughter and another seeking protection but despite the fact that respondent No.4-Buta with whom petitioners' daughter is stated to have solemnized marriage, is stated to be a resident of Village Pakki Tiddi, Tehsil Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib (as has been mentioned in the affidavit annexed with the aforesaid petition i.e. CRWP-12093 of 2021), the daughter of petitioners is not residing in the said village and is missing. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed off with liberty to the petitioners to avail other alternate efficacious remedies as regards 'missing' of their daughter including filing an appropriate application before the police.
