The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to consider his O-Level Certificate and issue him appointment letter for the post of Intelligence Assistant (Intelligence Cadre). 2.
Learned State Counsel submits that issue involved herein is no more res integra. It stands settled by judgment dated 17.09.2019 passed by Division Bench of this Court in bunch of petitions including LPA-1453-2019 titled as "Gurpreet Singh and Anr. Vs. State of Punjab and Ors.".

In the wake of statement of learned State counsel the petition stands dismissed with liberty to petitioner to move an appropriate application within three months from today, if cause survives. 4.
