Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, in fact, the land which was bought by the petitioners belonged to one Baldev Singh against whom primarily, the FIR has been lodged. He further submits that Baldev Singh and the present petitioners were of the same side and it is not a case where there is any encroachment by the petitioners, 2.

However, after arguing vehemently on the merits of the case, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are ready to surrender before the trial Court and prays that in case they surrender, their bail applications be decided expeditiously.

In light of the above, the present petition stands dismissed and the petitioners are directed to surrender before the trial Court on or before 31.01.2024 and in case, they applies for concession of regular bail, the same be decided expeditiously preferably within seven working days.
