Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and while refraining from making any expression as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to approach respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Karnal, District Karnal and to move an appropriate representation, in case the same has already not been filed. Upon receipt of such representation respondent No.2Superintendent of Police, Karnal, District Karnal shall have the same examined as regards the alleged threat perception and in case it is found that there is genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioners, then necessary steps warranted under law be taken thereupon at the earliest so as to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners.
