*** Ritu Bahri, J. (Oral) The present petition is for quashing of order dated 08.01.2022 (P-5) passed by respondent No. 3, vide which direction has been issued to deposit License weapons, issued for self protection.

Ms. Anu Pal, learned State counsel on instructions from Ms. Komal Mittal, Addl. District Magistrate, S.A.S Nagar, has informed the Court that in the meeting held by Screeing Committee on 20.01.2022 as per guidelines of Election Commission of India, the request of the petitioner has been accepted and it has been decided that he need not to deposit License weapons, issued for self protection In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as having become rendered infructuous.
