Petitioner has been working as Pharmacists at P.H.C. Mini Raipur Pharala, Jasmer Khass, District Jalandhar. He would attain the age of 58 years on 31.01.2019. According to counsel, petitioner has applied for extension of service in terms of Rule 3.26 of the Punjab Civil Services (First Amendment) Rules Vol-1, Part-I, 2012. However, his plea has not been considered till now. He has served legal notice Annexure P-6 in this regard. Notice of motion.

On the asking of court, Ms. Anu Chatrath, Addl. A.G. Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice. At the outset, she submits that the concerned authority shall take a decision on the legal notice at the earliest, in any case not later than two weeks'.

In view of statement made by State counsel, no further direction is necessary. Petition is disposed of.

A copy of this order be handed over to learned State counsel under the signatures of Bench Secretary.
