(Oral) This petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking quashing of FIR No.012 dated 28.01.2017 under Section 420 of IPC and Section 24 of Immigration Act, 1983 registered at Police Station Division No.3, District Ludhiana and all other subsequent proceedings arising therefrom in view of the panchayati compromise dated 18.12.2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition in case a genuine compromise is effected between the parties in future.
