RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 0156 dated 27.11.2018 registered under Sections 420/380 IPC at Police Station Nehianwala, District Bathinda.

According to the prosecution, the petitioner cheated the complainant for ` 40,000/- and gold ornaments, on the false pretext of marrying him.

Perusal of order dated 04.01.2019 (Annexure P-5) shows that the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bathina, afforded sufficient opportunities to the petitioner to join investigation, but she did not co-operate with the Investigating officer. Hence, finding no merit in the instant petition, the same is dismissed.
