RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Learned State counsel contends that the instant petition has rendered infructuous, in view of the fact that the police has prepared cancellation report which is pending consideration before the concerned Deputy Superintendent of Police and would be filed shortly in Court. Considering this aspect of the matter, the instant petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous, with a direction to the Police Department, to file cancellation report within two weeks from today, failing which the petitioner shall have the right to revive the instant petition.
