(Oral) Today, at the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the parties have since entered into a compromise and infact a petition for quashing of the FIR on the basis of compromise has also been filed in this Court. Learned counsel has today produced an affidavit of the complainant, wherein it has been specifically deposed that the matter stands amicably resolved amongst the parties. The said affidavit is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the aforesaid compromise, he does not wish to press upon the present petition and that the same may be dismissed as withdrawn. In view of the aforesaid request, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
