  Mr. Eeshan Garg, Advocate for respondent No.2. **** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Through this petition, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.938, dated 17.11.2018, registered under Sections 307, 323, 324, 326, 34 and 506 IPC, at Police Station Assandh, District Karnal, on the basis of compromise dated 08.01.2022 (Annexure P-4). There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners today. As per the contents of the FIR, the sword injuries on the neck and head of the injured, attributed to the petitioners, are on the vital parts and falls under the ambit of Section 307 IPC. Thus, the FIR cannot be quashed on the basis of the compromise.

Learned counsel for respondent No.2 does not dispute the aforesaid factual position.
