The present petition is for issuance of direction to the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Jalandhar-respondent No.2 to decide the application of the petitioner for parole dated 08.06.2023 (Annexure P-3).

Learned State counsel does not deny the fact that the application is pending consideration before the Deputy Commissioner-cumDistrict Magistrate, Jalandhar-respondent No.2. 3.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to look into the matter and decide the same expeditiously, in accordance with law preferably within one week from today.
