(ORAL) Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the matter in issue is squarely covered by the order and judgment, dated 15.10.1996, rendered by this Court in LPA-729-1985, titled "Harinderpal Singh and others v. Punjab State and others", that was affirmed by the Supreme Court in the case of Union of India v. Harinderpal Singh and others, (2005) 12 SCC 564. Thus, it is submitted that the present appeal be disposed of in terms thereof.
