(ORAL) The petitioner is facing an application for eviction under Section 7 (2) of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961 (as applicable to Haryana), for removal of the unauthorised and unlawful possession over the land concededly reserved for Gair Mumkin Baishak (resting of animals) under the consolidation scheme. Apprehending demolition of his one marla house over the portion of said shamilat land, the petitioner by filing the instant writ petition is seeking a direction restraining the respondent from demolishing the construction.
