...Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PANKAJ JAIN Present :
None for the petitioners.
Mr. Rajeev Anand, Addl. P.P., U.T., Chandigarh for respondents No.1 and 2.
None for respondent No.3.
PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) Pursuant to the order dated 7th of April, 2022, report has been received from JMIC, Chandigarh. The same is taken on record. As per the report, the complainant did not appear to get his statement recorded qua the compromise. Private parties remain unrepresented. Even on 11th of October, 2022 none appeared for the respondents.
Keeping in view the conduct of the parties before this Court and before the Magistrate, it seems that the alleged compromise has fizzled out. Thus, there is no reason to keep the present petition pending. Consequently, the same is ordered to be dismissed for non-prosecution.
