G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The present petition challenges the order dated 03.11.2016 (Annexure P-3) whereby, the application for production of documents has been dismissed. The documents which are sought to be produced are the attested copy of passport of Ambika Sood or her original passport. It is stated that since the bona fide requirement is on account of the said person, therefore, the said documents are required.

During the course of arguments, it has come out that the case is at the final stage. For the last 5 months, no effort was made to challenge the abovesaid order. The evidence of the respondent-tenant was closed on 02.08.2016. Once the evidence was closed, the question of leading evidence afresh or by producing the documents would not arise as the said witness has been duly cross examined. The effort is only a desperate effort to delay the proceedings which are at final stage. Even otherwise, it is not expected of the landlord or the person for whom the shop is required to sit at the station where the eviction petition has been filed and not move out in pursuance of better modes of avocation.

In such circumstances, the revision petition is patently misconceived and does not deserve any entertainment and is accordingly dismissed in limine.
