Lt. Col. Jatinderjit Singh (retired) ........Respondent
Present:
Mr. Jasbir S. Dhaliwal, Advocate for the petitioner.
CORAM:HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE K. KANNAN 1.
Whether Reporters of local papers may be allowed to see the judgment ?
2.
To be referred to the Reporters or not ?
3.
Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? -.- K. KANNAN J. (ORAL) 1.
The petitioner who is 80 years old has grievance that the suit is not being disposed of. As much as we desire that the cases are disposed of as early as possible, there is a systemic deficit that prevails all across India. Willingness to dispose of and unwillingness to proceed are at ever at cross roads and it shall be left to the resourcefullness of the parties themselves to see that the cases move on to an appropriate result as expeditiously as possible. I express a hope the same way as the petitioner's counsel does that the cases get to be disposed of expeditiously. Till then we shall keep praying and if answered, we are lucky. The petitioner may approach the Court and seek for such direction before the court below.
2.
The revision petition is disposed of with the above observations.
