Ravi Shanker Jha, Chief Justice Ravi Shanker Jha, Chief Justice Ravi Shanker Jha, Chief Justice Ravi Shanker Jha, Chief Justice (Oral) (Oral) (Oral) (Oral) This petition has been filed by Gram Sabha through its Sarpanch seeking to take up the issue regarding mis-appropriation of the panchayat funds against certain past officers and office bearers of the panchayat.

It is an admitted fact that the issues raised by the petitioner in this petition have already been raised before the authorities concerned, vide representation dated 14.05.2019 (Annexure P/10), but no decision has been taken thereon till date. In the circumstances, as the matter has already been taken up by the petitioner before the respondent authority and the same is pending decision, we do not find any reason to entertain the present petition at this stage.

The petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to pursue the matter before the respondents. It goes without saying that the authority concerned shall consider and take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioner, expeditiously, in accordance with law.
