(ORAL) The petitioner, an importer, is seeking directions to the respondent-Department of releasing the goods in terms of the Final Order dated 26.10.2018 (Annexure P-1) passed by the learned CESTAT, Chandigarh, directing the release of the seized goods. At the time of hearing, counsel for the petitioner states that the present petition has become infructuous as the goods have since been released.

Dismissed as infructuous.

Since the main case has been dismissed as infructuous, no orders are required to be passed in the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, and the same stand(s) disposed of.
