KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Case has been heard through video conferencing on account of COVID-19 Pandemic.

This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed by the petitioner-Sukhbir for issuance of direction to the respondents to get investigated the FIR No.382 dated 9.11.2020 registered under Section 346 IPC at Police Station Hansi Sadar, which was lodged by the petitioner regarding missing of her daughter Priyanka.

( 2 ) CWP-1686-2021 The petitioner has also filed CRWP-10485-2020 in the nature of Habeas Corpus seeking direction to the concerned authorities to get released his daughter Priyanka from the illegal custody of one Nand Lal. In the said connected matter, Priyanka, who is presently lodged in Nari Niketan, Karnal made statement before Chief Judicial Magistrate, Karnal to the effect that she is not ready to go with her father Sukhbir. The said petition has been disposed of by this Court, today itself. The counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has already given legal notice (Annexure P-11), but the authorities have failed to take any action in this regard.

In the light of the abovesaid, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Superintendent of Police, Hansi to look into the legal notice dated 16.1.2021 (Annexure P-11) and to decide the same in accordance with law within a period of 15 days of the receipt of the certified copy of this order. Respondent No.3 is further directed to consider this writ petition as fresh representation of the petitioner and to take the same into consideration while looking into the legal notice (Annexure P-11).
