(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the respondents authorities to immediately make clerical correction in revenue record in accordance with powers conferred and procedure prescribed by para 7.29 of chapter 7 of Punjab Land Records Manual.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail his remedies by filing a civil suit in terms of Section 45 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887.

In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
