(Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.107 dated 30.06.2009, registered under Sections 21 and 22 of the NDPS Act, at Police Station City Rupnagar, District Rupnagar. The operative part of the order dated 25.01.2019, vide which interim anticipatory bail has been granted to the petitioner, is reproduced as under:- "....Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after the arrest of the petitioner, he was released on bail on 31.07.2009 by the Judge, Special Court, Rupnagar. Thereafter, the petitioner, without obtaining permission of the Court, had travelled to Italy and was declared a proclaimed offender vide order dated 27.07.2010. It is further submitted that the petitioner is ready to appear before the trial Court and face the trial.

CRM-M No.1900 of 2019 Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, in pursuance to the order dated 25.01.2019, the petitioner has appeared before the trial Court and has deposited the costs of Rs.2 lacs in the Government Treasury and has placed on record the certified copy of the order dated 31.01.2019 passed by the trial Court.

Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Angrej Singh, has not disputed the aforesaid fact and submits that for the purpose of completing the investigation and submitting the challan, the petitioner is required for joining the investigation. In view of the above, this petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 25.01.2019 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. However, it is directed that the petitioner will join the investigation as and when required by the Investigating Officer on a written notice issued by him.
