(ORAL) In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to respondents No. 1 to 3 to take action against respondents No. 9 to 16 mentioned in the complaint and register an FIR under cognizable and non-cognizable offences committed by them.

Learned counsel for petitioner-Gram Panchayat inter alia contends that accused with the help of tippers and JCB machine broke the road and took away earth from the Panchayat Land, on account of which 150 trees planted thereon got uprooted. He further submits that the purpose of instant petition would be achieved, if, respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur, is directed to decide representation dated 20.12.2019 (Annexure P-4), moved by the petitioner-Gram Panchayat.
