**** MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is for issuance of directions to the official respondents to hand over the investigation of FIR No.172, dated 20.12.2020, under Sections 498-A, 323, 342, 406, 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Women Central, Faridabad, to some senior police officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police, as some of the official respondents are hand in glove with the private respondents. In compliance to the order dated 22nd January, 2021, affidavit of O.P. Singh, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Faridabad, has been filed in the registry. Same is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Learned State counsel has invited the attention of this Court to para No.7 of the said affidavit, wherein, it has been specifically stated that respondent No. 7 - Harsh Bhardwaj, was arrested by the police on 25th January, 2021.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous, therefore, the same may be disposed of as such.

Dismissed as infructuous.
