By this judgment, two connected revision petitions shall stand disposed of. The learned counsel representing the parties are ad idem that the point in issue in both the revision petitions is identical and the matter can conveniently be disposed of by a common order. 2.

The petitioner is a defendant in the suit for grant of possession by way of redemption of the mortgage. The plaintiffs prayed for redemption of the mortgage deeds, dated 09.02.1987 and 28.05.2001. Civil Revision No. 2544 of 2017 AND Civil Revision No. 2581 of 2017 statement, the defendant disclosed that there is another mortgage deed dated 18.01.1994. When the case was at the initial stage, the plaintiffs filed an application for permission to amend the plaint in order to seek redemption of the mortgage deed dated 18.01.1994 also. The same has been allowed. 3.

Heard the learned counsel representing the parties, at length and with their able assistance, perused the paper-book. 4.

In the facts of the case, this Court does not find it proper to exercise its revisional jurisdiction. Hence, both the revision petitions are dismissed.
