Prayer made in the present petition was to allow the petitioner to change his optional subject from political science to law in the reconduct of PSC (EB) and Allied Services (Preliminary) Exam, 1998. 2.

Pursuant to the last order dated 03.04.2025, learned State counsel on instructions states that the result of the petitioner was initially withheld, however, upon it being declared, he was found not to be falling in the list of successful candidates recommended for appointment, which was conveyed to him on 27.11.2003 itself.

In view of the above, nothing survives in the present petition and the same is disposed of as such.
