Mr. K.S. Khehar, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. R.S. Dhanda, Advocate for the respondent. ANIL KSHETARPAL, J.(Oral) Parties along with their respective counsel are present in the Court. In the previous round, parties had entered into a settlement, which is (Annexure P-7) on the record. Both the parties state that they should continue to abide by the aforesaid terms of the settlement arrived at. However, a prayer has been made to direct the learned trial Court to decide the main petition within a period of six months.
Keeping in view, the prayer made and also keeping in mind that the dispute is with regard to custody of minor children, learned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial of the case within a period of six months. During the pendency of the case, the interim order passed by this Court on 25.04.2018 shall continue to operate.
Learned counsel for the parties have undertaken that they shall not seek any unnecessary adjournment and cooperate with the Court in early disposal of the case.
Learned trial Court shall be at liberty to proceed with the case if any unnecessary adjournment is sought for by the party. Revision petition is disposed of.
