Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the benefit of 14 years service on the post of Reader under New Assured Career Progression Scheme, 2006 (P-1) Short reply by way of affidavit of Dr.Avnish Kumar, Director, Research & Medical education, Punjab filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 along with annexure R-1 is taken on record subject to all just exceptions. Registry to tag the same at appropriate place. Learned State counsel submits that the claim of the petitioner has been considered; but rejected vide order dated 21.04.2022 (R-1). In view of the above, learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner, wishes to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to challenge the order dated 21.04.2022, in accordance with law.
