Dharam Pal Arora v. Kamaljit Singh Ahluwalia And ORS
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CR No.3127 of 2016 (O&M) Date of decision:03.05.2016 Dharam Pal Arora ... Petitioner Vs.
Kamaljit Singh Ahluwalia and others ... Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL Present:- Mr. Vaibhav Narang, Advocate for the petitioner.
AMIT RAWAL J. (Oral) Prayer in the present revision petition is for expeditious disposal of the suit as the order would reveal that defendants No.2 and 3 at one point of time were proceeded ex parte and thereafter, suffered a statement qua no objection yet the defendants did not file the written statement and even the defence has been struck off. Now an application has been filed for recalling of the order. Such an act on behalf of the defendants should be dealt with seriously and they should not be granted adjournments.
Accordingly, revision petition stands disposed of with a direction to the trial Court to decide the suit as expeditiously as possible and take action, in accordance with law, against the respondent-defendants for not filing the written statement.
