***** ARCHANA PURI, J. (Oral) Mr. Sahil Matharoo, Advocate, has made appearance on behalf of the respondent and filed Power of Attorney, which is taken on record. However, the counsel for the respondent has given a statement that he does not intend to file reply to the transfer application and he has no objection, if the divorce petition is transferred from Ludhiana to Yamunanagar. In view of the statement aforesaid and taking into consideration the fact of two other cases i.e. petition under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act and the petition under Section 144 of Sonu 2025.05.19 15:19 I agree to specified portions of this document P&HHC

TA-46-2025 the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, already pending in the Courts at Yamunanagar; considering the distance between the two places; and also considering the fact about the applicant having no source of earning, as evident from the application, the transfer application is allowed and the petition under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act i.e. HMA/12948/2024, titled 'Shantanu Kumar Vs. Priya', filed by the respondent-husband, stands transferred from the Family Court, Ludhiana, to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Yamunanagar. The requisite record of the aforesaid case be sent by the Family Court, Ludhiana, to the District and Sessions Judge, Yamunanagar.

Learned District and Sessions Judge, Yamunanagar, shall assign the said petition to the Family Court, Yamunanagar. Even, the parties are directed to appear before the Family Court, Yamunanagar, within a period of one month from today onwards.
