RAJIVE BHALLA, J. (ORAL) Counsel for the parties state that parties have resolved their differences. Rishi Raj, the respondent, has agreed to pay Rs.4,00,000/- (four lac) as permanent alimony to the appellant and the appellant has agreed to withdraw the appeal. We have heard counsel for the parties and direct that the statements of parties be recorded. The statements recorded by the parties read as follows:- "Statement of Rishi Raj son of Shri Ram Phal, resident of village Dhurana, tehsil Gohana, District Sonepat Stated that I shall pay Rs.4,00,000/- (four lac) as permanent alimony to Smt. Ram Pati if she agrees to accept the decree of divorce dated 1.9.2003 passed by the Additional District Judge, Sonepat. I have paid Rs.1,00,000/- (one lac) today in court and undertake to KUMAR VIRENDER 2015.10.01 11:22 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this docunt High Court Chandigarh

FAO No.259-M-2003 pay Rs.3,00,000/-(three lac) to her, within six months from today."

"Statement of Ram Patti wife of Rishi Raj d/o Chandra, resident of village Riwara, Tehsil Gohana District Sonepat As Rishi Raj has agreed to pay Rs.4,00,000/- (Four lac) as permanent alimony, out of which, I have received Rs.1,00,000/- (one lac) today in court and the remaining amount of Rs.3,00,000/- (three lac) shall be paid to me within six months, I withdraw the appeal and accept the correctness of judgment and decree dated 01.9.2003 passed by the Additional District Judge, Sonepat, dissolving my marriage with Rishi Raj."

In view of the individual statements recorded by Ram Pati and Rishi Raj, respectively, the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. The judgment and decree dated 01.9.2003, passed by the Additional District Judge, Sonepat, is hereby affirmed. The appellant has received Rs.1,00,000/- (one lac) towards permanent alimony. The balance amount of Rs.3,00,000/- (three lac) shall be paid by the respondent on or before 21.3.2016 failing which, the appellant would be at liberty to seek revival of the present appeal.
