Present revision petition is against the judgment of conviction dated 08.02.2017, passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chandigarh, whereby petitioner was convicted for the offence punishable under Section 411 IPC and vide order dated 09.02.2017, he was sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of one year and to pay fine of Rs.5,000/-, in default whereof to further undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of one month. Thereafter, appeal, filed by the petitioner, was also dismissed by the learned Sessions Judge, Chandigarh vide order dated 04.01.2019.

After considering the entire matter, this Court is of the view that there is absolutely no ground to accept the revision petition as both the learned Courts below have appreciated the entire prosecution evidence as well as defence of the accused and case is based upon the statement of DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2019.01.17 16:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Criminal Revision No. 125 of 2019 complainant, who had apprehended the accused on the spot and handed over to the police. As such, present revision petition stands dismissed being devoid of any merit therein.
