**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J. (ORAL) Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of direction to respondent No. 2 to transfer the investigation of FIR No. 0170 dated 02.9.2020 under Sections 323, 324, 506, 148, 149 and 307 IPC, registered at Police Station Nurpur Bedi, District Rupnagar to some senior officer of the department.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the FIR in question was registered way-back on 02.9.2020 but no efforts have been made by the prosecution agency to arrest the accused despite the fact that the bail application of some of the accused have been dismissed by the competent Court.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Randhir Singh Thind, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State. CRM-M No. 3182 of 2021 -2He further submits that three other accused have also joined and one accused has been granted interim bail by the Court below. Learned State counsel further submits that in the cross-case also there are 08 accused and the investigation is going on.
Keeping in view the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the petition at this stage. Dismissed as withdrawn at this stage.
