Mr. Anil Chawla, Advocate, for the petitioner --- TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA , J. (Oral) This is a revision petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for setting aside the order dated 26.8.2016 (Annexure P-1), whereby the application moved by the petitioner/defendant for revoking the order dated 17.10.2013 passed in appeal titled Mahant Rajinder Dass v. Mahant Sukhdevanand and others on the basis of compromise entered into between the parties, was dismissed.

A perusal of the impugned order shows that the compromise in question dated 17.10.2013 was duly entered into between the parties, and was signed by them including the present petitioner, Mahant Sukhdevanand, as first party. The decree in question undisputedly was passed based on the said compromise, which was neither illegal nor unlawful. In view thereof, there is no ground to interfere with the impugned order dismissing the application for recalling the order passed on the basis of compromise.

Dismissed.
