The prayer in the present Civil Writ Petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for quashing order dated 03.07.2019 (Annexure P-1), vide which the petitioner was placed under suspension with a further prayer for directing the respondents to enhance the subsistence allowance from 50 per cent to 75 per cent.

At the very outset, learned State counsel submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, the claim of the petitioner with respect to enhancing the subsistence allowance from 50 per cent to 75 per cent, which the petitioner was seeking as per Rule 7.2 of Punjab Civil Services Rules Volume I Part I, has been rejected, vide order dated 29.01.2021. 3.
In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the writ petition with a liberty to challenge the above said order, vide which his claim has been rejected. 4.
Ordered accordingly.
